Yagan Square is part of the State Government’s Perth City Link Project connecting William, Wellington and Roe Streets via a host retail outlets, bars, cafes, public open space and play areas, as illustrated in the artist impressions above.
Yagan Square, located in the arms of the Horseshoe Bridge, recognises one of the Noongar People’s great leader-warriors. Yagan was a Whadjuk Noongar man, who gained both fear and admiration for his courage in resisting take over settlement of his land by the early European settlers.
Crown Construction Services, appreciate the historical and cultural significance of this site and are proud to have been associated with this flagship project. Practical completion was achieved in June 2017.
